Software Labs eXamin Fusion Delivers Improved Data Integration and Migration
Capabilities to Support Mobility and Legacy-Based IT Environments.
Data Management Expert Boosts Capabilities of Growing Service Provider Partnerships
and Customers.
SACRAMENTO, CA., September 14, 2005 — Software Labs, Inc.
today announced the latest release of eXamin Fusion, an advanced .NET-based data
management solution that reduces the complexities of data migration and integration.
Tightly aligned with the needs of customers and partners, the new version focuses
on expanded access to key data sources. A chief enhancement is eXamin Fusion WebDB
Server, which permits customers, their subsidiaries and business partners to securely
integrate mission-critical data over the Internet. Four new data connectors, supporting
SAP Business Warehouse, Btrieve ISAM files, ODBC, and PostgreSQL, help customers
and partners leverage legacy and new business applications. Other improvements include
scalability and usability enhancements.
The latest version reflects Software Labs’ deep understanding of industry
and market trends, such as the expanding mobile workforce and globally distributed
organizations, and broad-based need for real-time data integration among business
partners. Software Labs’ customer, U.S. Green Building Council.
“USGBC is a rapidly growing organization; providing the necessary green building
information, tools and resources through the Web is essential to its success,”
said Joe Diianni, Director of Technology, U.S. Green Building Council. “In
order to leverage the Web, the ability to tie data together between multiple applications
on different platforms, from a standardized back-end to a personalized, customer
focused Web site is critical.”
The U.S. Green Building Council is the nation's leading coalition of corporations,
builders, universities, government agencies and nonprofit organizations working
together to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and
healthy places to live and work.
Software Labs is also progressively enhancing eXamin Fusion to help businesses adopt
newer technologies more efficiently. “Today, there is a clear trend in the
market. Businesses are moving away from inadequate ERP and CRM systems to more standardized
applications, from vendors such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft,” said Dr. Pradeep
Tapadiya, president of Software Labs. “Migrating business data in an efficient
and reliable way is their top priority.”
“Software Labs continues to make our job easier with newer mySAP and SAP Business
One installations,” said Suresh Ketha, president of GEMS, an SAP reseller.
“In addition to broad access to legacy systems, Software Labs’ migration
acceleration packs give us a major leg up in competing for projects and executing
on them quickly and efficiently.”
The new version of xFusion Studio and xFusion WebDB Server are available now.
